cargExplorer (1.0.5 r85)

This addon is in beta stage. Especially the compatibility with other locales than enGB was not tested - please report all bugs, so that I can fix them.

You wanted to reveal the whole map by yourself, but you have the feeling that there's one part missing? Maybe a small area in Mulgore you didn't notice? Then this addon may helps you. cargExplorer displays a small info text next to the WorldMap-close button which gives the percentage of your discovered areas. If you don't have all parts of the selected map discovered, the 10 zones with the most missing parts are shown in the tooltip.

The addon does not only show you the missing parts of the selected zone, but counts also the discovered areas of the selected continent - so if you've selected Kalimdor in the map, the text shows the percentage of all zones of Kalimdor. To get a full overview about all zones in WoW, you have to select the cosmic map.

Notice that you have to select every zone in the worldmap-frame to let the addon save the data. So the continent / planet overview would give you only accurate data if you've selected all zones of it.

cargExplorer does not work properly with most world map revealing addons (due to their inserting of new textures). If you find another interfering with cargExplorer, please write a comment.
The new version tries to get the map data before most map revealing addons get it - So it should be compatible with most of these addons. The following were tested and are working with this addon:
- Cartographer_Foglight
- MozzFullWorldMap
- Mapster

I did not have the chance to test this addon with locales other than enGB - it uses libBabble-Zone-3.0 for localizing, but there could be problems. If there are some or you have feedback, feel free to drop a comment.

Hear Kitty (1.1)

Hear Kitty plays soothing but distinct orchestral sounds when you gain and spend combo points. It's like having your own theme music! You won't have to watch for red combo dots; when you hear the final note played, you'll know it's time for a finishing move.
BadBoy: Anti Spam Automatic Reporter (v2.0.3)

BadBoy will actively scan your chat for possible spam, when found:

*Block, all spam that is found from appearing
*Report, the spamming player automatically

What sets this aside from other spam blockers?
BadBoy is made to be extremely light, it only uses 5kb of ingame memory, has no ingame options, and works automatically without asking the user.

But what if I want to know who I'm reporting?
Sure, ingame EXACTLY type:

/script BADBOY_POPUP = true

Now every time spam is blocked a popup will appear asking you to report the spammer. Use "false" to go back to automatic.

Please post missed spam at http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=12899

CorkIt (2.04.03)

Is NPC chatter driving you nuts? Do you feel like throwing Topper McNabb in the canals? Are you tired of listening to William and Donna fight over her doll? This chatter helps to give a city colour or "personality" but in no way affects your progress in the game. Sometimes it can fill your chat window to the point of causing you to miss tells and whispers.

CorkIt does one simple thing, and does it well. It removes NPC chatter. the default is to only cork NPC "/says" when you are in an inn or a major city (ie. while your character is "resting"), but it can be configured to cork NPC's anywhere, including instance, and it can cork "/yells" as well. CorkIt does not silence NPCs when they say your name

This is a small, efficient mod with a minimalist GUI, no libs and no dependencies.

Slash command:
/corkit -display options menu.

Action Bar Saver 2 (r800)

Quick little mod, allows you to setup different profiles for your action bars. Mainly this is for hybrid classes that want to be able to respec without spending 10-20 minutes setting their action bars up.

All you do is type /abs save
and it'll save the location of all your spells, macros and items.

For example, if you're currently a Feral Druid you can type /abs save feral then you can respec to Resto and setup your bars, then type /abs save resto once you go respec back to Feral you can then train all your spells again and type /abs restore feral and you'll get your feral setup without all the work of actually finding where you placed things.

Works with any custom interface like Bongos provided you're not using more then the standard 120 action buttons, ones that provided features to go past 120 will cause only the standard 120 to be saved/restored. This isn't a bug however, just a limitation in the WoW API

Afflicted2 (r799)

Afflicted is for tracking enemy timers in PvP, mainly in arenas. This is for people who want useful information, if you want to know the cooldown <obscure ability here> then this isn't the mod for you, the goal is to track things like the duration on Blessing of Freedom or how much longer before an enemy can interrupt you again, if you want to expand beyond the default timers then you're provided with configuration to do so and the system is pretty flexible so you should be able to add everything.

Includes text alerts when you interrupt enemies, or when you dispel a player or an enemy, all announcements can be sent to Combat Text, Party, Raid Warning or a specified chat frame.

To configure Afflicted type /afflicted ui

BarKeep - 20400a (20400a)

BarKeep - 20400a
Was CleanBarAdvanced - but has been completed rewritten

This mod is a complete update of the last version of CleanBarAdvanced as improved by myself, CamsWI and benzo before that. The mod has been completely rewritten and improved with the following features added:

All the main action bars can be reconfigured to have up to 12 rows, so you can have 6 buttons x 2 rows, 3 buttons by 4 rows etc. This is done still using the Blizzard button code for compatibility.
All the main bars can be scaled independently of one another.
All bars can be hidden if you want, some using the Blizzard options from the interface menu, others using BarKeep.
The menu was completely reworked to accomodate the new options and the commands updated for simplicity.

I want to say thanks to the previous developers of this CleanBar & CleanBarAdvanced since BarKeep would not be possible without their help.

So why use BarKeep?

It enables complete rearrangement and scaling of the Blizzard bars and so has some advantages over the traditional bar mod:

It uses Blizzards buttons (and button code). So pretty much it's always compatible if Blizzard make any changes.
Its really light in use - doesn't use a lot of memory and CPU cycles.
It seems pretty stable as a result of the above.
It'll work with cooldown, ranged mods that work with Blizzard buttons and also ButtonFacade with another small mod.

Commands:

/bk - show this help
/bk lock - lock the Bars so they can't be moved
/bk unlock - unlock the Bars so they can be moved

Options for the Action Bars:
--------------------------
/bk **BAR** scale x - scale the respective Action Bar (you can use the numbers 5 to 10 in the scale feature)
/bk **BAR** rows x - set the number of rows for the respective Action Bar (you can use the numbers 1 to 12)

Where you replace **BAR** with a valid bar name:

main / bottomleft / bottomright - the bars attached to the Blizzard main menu bar or ...
multileft / multiright - the side bars

Options for the Other Bars:
--------------------------
/bk pet scale x - scale the Pet Bar (you can use the numbers 5 to 10 in the scale feature)

/bk shape hide - Hides the Stance/Shape/Form Bar
/bk shape show - Shows the Stance/Shape/Form Bar

/bk menu hide - Hides the Menu Bar
/bk menu show - Shows the Menu Bar

/bk bag hide - Hides the Bag Bar
/bk bag show - Shows the Bag Bar
/bk bag scale x - scale the Bag Bar (you can use the numbers 5 to 10 in the scale feature)
/bk bag padding x - sets the space between buttons (x is a number between 0 and 50, default is 0)
/bk bag vertical - make the Bag Bar vertical
/bk bag horizontal - make the Bag Bar horizontal

Known Issues:
I'll be looking to support this mod moving forward as long as it is within the ability of my LUA coding skills.

ScrollTip (1.0)

ScrollTip is a simple function which displays a large movable scrollable tooltip given a multi-line string. This string is usually instructions for a ui mod. If kept in a separate file, these instructions are known as a "read me" or help file. ScrollTip lets ui mod authors include the "read me" within the ui mod itself.

The user can scroll the text within the tooltip by using the mouse wheel. Since ScrollTip is rather simple, there is no scroll bar. The text can be quite long but if it's enormously long, the user would get tired of rolling the mouse wheel to scroll to the bottom of the text. If your text is so long that scrolling with the mouse wheel takes far too much time, then you would have to break up the text into smaller chunks, or use a more advanced function than ScrollTip.

The text can include three very simple html tags: big, b, i. Text within these tags are not displayed bigger, bolder or italicized, however. Since ScrollTip is rather simple, those tags are just turned into appropriately colorized text. For example, big is displayed in bright yellow, b in pastel yellow, and i in translucent yellow.

The size of the scrollable tooltip can be 'small', 'medium', or 'large'. If the size is omitted, medium is assumed. If the size is small, a small font is used because the normal font does not scroll well in a small tooltip. The normal font is used in medium and large tooltips.

ScrollTip is really easy to add to your ui mod.
1) Put ScrollTip.lua in your ui mod directory
2) Add ScrollTip.lua to your .toc file.
3) In your lua code, call ScrollTip(YourHelpString)

Once ScrollTip has been added to your ui mod and your ui mod is running, you can type /scrolltip to display these instructions and information on using ScrollTip. You can also type /scrolltip small to view a small tooltip and /scrolltip large to view a large tooltip. This way you can compare the sizes and see which size works best for you.

The ScrollTip function returns the frame containing the scrollable tooltip but it can be ignored since the user can close the tooltip themselves.

Example function calls:
ScrollTip('Hello World!', 'small')
ScrollTip('<big>big</big>')
tip = ScrollTip('save return value to close tip later')

ScrollTip is just a simple function to easily display a help file and there are no plans to add any features. I hope ScrollTip fits your needs.

NumPadBar (2.42)

Features

Offers a choice of five popular keyboards
Offers a choice of three action bar sizes
Switches bars on form/stance changes, if desired
Hides the numpad or labels if desired
Locks all action bars during combat
Prevents shift-dragging actions out of numpad buttons during combat
Prevents dragging numpad off screen
Saves settings individually for each character
Displays detailed instructions in a scrollable tooltip
Compatible with OmniCC, a ui mod that displays cooldowns on buttons

Warning

Due to the lack of spare action slots for druids and warriors, slots of bottom action bar #2 are used to store numpad actions in. For moonkin and treeform druids, the entire bottom action bar #2 is used. For warriors and feral druids using arrow keys, only the rightmost 4 slots are used.

Description

NumPadBar is an action bar in the shape of a numpad. It works like a built-in action bar such as the Bottom Right ActionBar, for example. You can drag actions and macros into and out of NumPadBar, just like other action bars.

The first major difference between NumPadBar and built-in action bars is that it is in the shape of a numpad. Also, keybindings for numpad keys are already set up for the numpad bar. These keybindings are temporary and are only used while the numpad is displayed.

The second major difference is that NumPadBar can be used as a normal action bar or as a stance bar. When using it as a normal action bar, the same actions are used no matter what stance you are in. When using it as a stance bar, the actions will change depending on your stance; they will be the same actions that are in the built-in stance bar.

You can move NumPadBar anywhere on screen. You can change its size. You can choose from a selection of popular keyboards; this affects the layout of the numpad keys. You can hide NumPadBar. You can hide the labels on the keys. You can select whether to display the Enter key (and override Chat binding), and whether to display the cursor keys (and override movement and other bindings).

In the heat of combat, it is all too easy to accidentally drag actions out of action bars. Therefore, NumPadBar, as well as the built-in action bars, are locked during combat. This prevents all changes to NumPadBar during combat.

You can display instructions in a scrollable tooltip by right-clicking the invisible background of NumPadBar near the numeric keys and selecting Help.

If no translations exist for your locale, PhanxChat will default to English, but some locale-dependent features may not work completely (like short channel names) or work in undesirable ways (like short chat strings using English abbreviations that might not make sense for your language).

If you are interested in helping to translate PhanxChat for French, German, Korean, or Spanish locales, please send me a PM.

KNOWN ISSUES

None.

HAVE A FEATURE REQUEST?

Use the Feature Request tracker to suggest features you would like to see in PhanxChat. Keep in mind that I intend to keep this addon limited to simple, uncluttered chat frame modifications. Also, please take a look at the list of declined features before posting a feature request.

THINK YOU FOUND A BUG?

Use the bug report tracker! Before reporting a bug, please make sure it is not on the list of known issues (above), and then:
(1) Make sure you have the latest version of PhanxChat.
(2) If the problem persists, try deleting the PhanxChat saved variables. If this solves the problem, try recreating your configuration; if the problem reappears, please tell me which settings you changed from the defaults that caused the problem.
(3) If the problem persists, try logging in with PhanxChat enabled and all other addons disabled and see if the error still occurs; if it does not occur, it's being caused by a conflict with another addon, and you will need to enable your other addons one by one to find out which addon is causing the conflict. (ACP or OptionHouse make it easy to enable/disable addons in-game.)

After you've verified that you're up-to-date and the problem is not caused by a conflict with another addon (or you've identified the conflicting addon), please post:
(1) the exact text of any error messages you get (I recommend using !BugGrabber + BugSack to capturing errors for easy copy-and-paste),
(2) a detailed description (or link to a screenshot) of any graphical errors you're seeing,
(3) which other addon (if any) is triggering the error,
(4) what you were doing when the error occured,
(5) whether or not the error occurs every time you perform that action,
(6) which settings (if any) you have changed from the default configuration, and
(7) what locale you are playing WoW in.

MasterLewtLogger (2.04.04)

What the addon does:

Automatically enables itself when you are the Loot Master of a raid
Automatically disables itself when:
you leave the raid
someone else becomes Loot Master
the loot method is changed to something other than Master Looter
notifies you when you become Loot Master and shows current loot threshold
notifies you when you stop being Loot Master
saves:

your toon's name
for each instance you distribute loot in it will save:
the instance or zone name
for each loot item of threshold level or higher looted in that instance (except Badges of Justice) it will save:
the item name
WoWHead link
in-game item link
what dropped it ("container" if not a MOB)
who got it

when an item is awarded to a character, a popup will ask if it is intended for disenchanting/vendoring. If you respond "Yes", the item will not be recorded.Slash commands:/mll - display current status
/mll report - display a list of recorded loot
/mll reset - resets the loot record
/mll getlist
- copies
's loot record to your own list
/mll sendlist
- sends your loot record to

-
can accept or cancel the transfer.
How to use the addon:

put it in your Addons folder (like any other addon)
WoW doesn't write any user info to disk until you Logout, Exit Game, or reload your UI, so if your computer crashes after data has been recorded but not written to disk, it will be lost. You can type /console reloadui in chat or hit ALT-F4 to save the info you have so far.
if you need to get the data from a loot master (ie. to post it on a website, etc.) either type /mll getlist
while you are both in game, or have the person send you their SavedVariables/LewtMasterLogger.lua file via email, etc.
when finished raiding, you can send your data to your record-keeper by typing /mll sendlist
when you are both in-game.
to clear the data either delete the file after sending it/ posting it, etc, or type /mll reset in-gameImportant: as of version 2.04.03, the database structure has been changed. if you are upgrading from a previous version please remove your old data in any of the numerous possible ways (delete the file, move the file, rename the file, type /mll reset in game, etc...)

Known issues:
The report function is limited to about 30 items, since I am using a simple popup dialog to display it. I have not had time to code a full fledged scrollable frame to display the info, but will do so in a future version.

votes and feedback are appreciated

Battleground General (1.3)

Battleground General is a small panel that appears in Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin. It shows you where all your team-mates are, and allows you to give specific orders to multiple people at once, along with other useful and fun features.

Getting started:
Once you have downloaded Battleground General and put it into your AddOns folder, you can open up WoW and set some keybindings. The most useful bindings are Show, Hide, Order by Class and Order by Position. I use Ctrl-S, Ctrl-H, Ctrl-C and Ctrl-P for these commands. Once you enter Warsong Gulch or Arathi Basin the panel will appear and you can place it where it suits you. If the BGG panel doesn’t appear (which occasionally happens), using the "Show" keybinding or typing /bgg show will show it. It will show you where all your team-mates are and a red dot will indicate if they’re in combat. Ordering by class is self-explanatory. Ordering by position sorts players by where they are, with Alliance areas at the top and Horde areas down the bottom.

Giving commands
You can select players by shift clicking on them. This is different to targeting them as you can select multiple players. To order them around, use the Battleground Whisper command. For example you may select three players you want to defend the flag in WSG. Then you type:

/bgw stay on defence

The message "stay on defence" will be individually whispered to each selected player.
When you start, this won’t actually work, as BGG is by default in Sandbox Mode. Once you are confident to send real whispers, type /bgg sandbox off
You can also right-click on the five red buttons near the top for pre-made, hopefully grammatical, commands. I like the Battleground Whisper concept a lot more, so am deprecating using the buttons.
Do Not Whisper List
Not everyone will respond positively to being whispered to. As a responsible Warcraft citizen, you can maintain a list of players to whom whispering is not productive. Target the offending (offended?) player, or select them in the BGG window and type /bgg dnw on to avoid sending them more whispers. Type /bgg dnw help for more information about maintaining the list. This list will be valid for the whole account.

Organizing Groups
You may wish to issue commands certain groups of players. Use the the Store Group # and Recall Group # bindings (I use Shift-Ctrl-1 to store and Ctrl-1 to recall) to save and bring back your groups. Alternatively you may want the groups to follow raid groups (players in the same party can share auras and make use of Vampiric Touch for example). Type /bgg group on to be able to recall raid groups (ie. BGG groups will follow raid groups).
Advanced Stuff
If you’re not American you may prefer the area above the Flag Room floor in WSG to be called "1st floor" instead of "2nd floor". To change this, open up the file BGGConfig.lua and change the first line to ABGUseAmericanNames = false.
The Toggle Enemy List keybinding shows or hides a panel showing which enemy players have been seen where in Arathi Basin. It is useful for knowing whether a node can be defended or whether it will probably by overrun. Note that this information is imperfect, and that there may be enemy players as yet unseen. The panel automatically hides if you enter combat.
You’ve grabbed the enemy flag in WSG and got all the way back to your base. Someone on your team returns your flag, but you don’t notice until too late in the desperate struggle to keep yourself alive. Battleground General can help! Type /bgg warn on to get BGG to warn you that you can now capture the flag with a sound you can’t miss.
Lastly, for fun, type /bgg cheer on to get your character to perform a suitable positive or negative emote when you or the opposition capture the flag in WSG. You raise your fist in anger at Dumbflagcarrier.

BuffWatcher (2.40)

By Azmenen of Lothar

BuffWatcher is an efficient, light-weight addon that will periodically check your buffs, and if you're missing an essential one, it'll put a warning up on the screen. Underlined buffs in this description will only be checked for if you have the talent. If you run into a problem, or have a request, post it here, or email me, and i'll look into it :)

Classes and buffs supported:

Druid: Mark/Gift of the Wild, Thorns, and Omen of Clarity
Hunter: Aspect of the Beast/Cheetah/Hawk/Monkey/Pack/Viper/Wild, Trueshot Aura
Mage: Arcane Brilliance/Intellect, Frost/Ice/Mage/Molten Armor
Paladin: Auras, Blessings, and Righteous Fury (does not count Blessing of Auchindoun as a blessing)
Priest: Divine Spirit/Prayer of Spirit, Inner Fire, Power Word: Fortitude/Prayer of Fortitude
Rogue: Poisons (optionable), Slice n Dice (optionable) (combat-only!)
Shaman: Earth/Lightning/Water Shield
Warlock: Demon Armor/Demon Skin/Fel Armor, Soul Link (only when pet is active!)
Warrior: Battle/Commanding Shout, Rampage (combat only!) Catches your most-recently cast shout, so you'll only track your shout (useful if there's multiple warriors in your group)

Features:

Special-case BattleGround checking options:
-1- Check buffs as normal (like outside a BG).
-2- Check buffs only if "Preparing" or "Spirit Healed".
-3- Do not check buffs while in a BG.
Will not check for missing buffs while you're in an inn or major city (resting), this is optionable
Checks if you have the talent for the skill (Omen of Clarity, Righteous Fury, Divine Spirit, Rampage, etc)
Uses an optionably-movable frame for the warning notification box
Added a panel in the Interface Options! No longer are you stuck using commands, now you can use the Interface panel GUI!
Esc -> Interface -> Addons -> Buff Watcher

TO DO:

Allow further customization
Add customizable color options
Add customizable buff checks
Please rate it. It will feed your author.

"I'm NOT any kind of coder" made. Treat it as is please.

Lucidity - Stripped default actionbars for D.Y.I. people.

This is a addon just to strip and relocate the default actionbars. In other words, this is a template to position these bars. I did my best to make your editing easy and fun by adding some examples with my poor English. See more details in "Lucidity.lua".
And this addon eats very low amount of memory (about 0.5-1.5kb) and is almost nothing about CPU time because it does almost nothing.

Special thanks to Tekkub Stoutwrithe for "Addon Template", rothar
for "rBars", Tuller for "Dominos". If you don't like Lucidity, try their nice addons. I know you'll like it.

Any thoughts, ideas and surely any helps are welcome. Please leave your comments.

Happy D.I.Y. trying. =)

* This layout may not fit your screen. Let me know if any suggestion for the default layout please.
* I have to say it again but my English is very very poor. Let me know if anything I can do about writing please.

Last changes

Added a function to ReputationWatchBar so that it can follow the last increased faction as a event handling example. (I'm not sure if it's the right way) And some clean up (I hope so at least). I'm not sure I can make a plugin for ButtonFacade yet, but something about data saving functions are added as well. It's for nothing yet though. You can delete it safely or improve it.

Known issue

If you hide the background texture of BonusActionBar (like I did) and if your BonusActionBar has any empty slot then your ActionBar's button will remain through that empty slot. Yes, of course.

Solution

Fill your BonusActionBar or look into the bonushook section at rBars.

WoWWiki
WoW Version Tracker

No doubt you can use these nice addons along with Lucidity.

RedRange - Range indicater.
OmniCC - Cooldown indicater.
JustTheArt - Label hider.
ButtonFacade & Blizz_ButtonFacade - Button skinner. (You have to uncomment some lines and it seems to has a problem about saving)

NotesUNeed v6.45.20400 - Telic of Dragonblight (EU)
___________________________________________________

Feature-rich, searchable Notes database with many automated features, and additional NuN tooltips for viewing note details.

Make Contact Notes on other Players, or General Notes on anything else.

This AddOn is for making your own custom notes on players, and quests, and items, etc. and does not come with any pre-made notes.
It does provide an Export and Import Feature for sharing of sets of notes, or publishing of note databases.

There is no longer an "Alternative" version of NuN, and the default Modifier keys for creating notes from Container Items and Hyperlinks is now simply "<Alt>-Left Mouse Click". For anyone unhappy with this key-Combo, then they can now specify their own via the NotesUNeed Options frame.
DR Tracker (r786)

Tracks time left on spells, and also shows time left until diminishing returns on them resets, as well as how far the spell is diminished. Shows the next diminish, so for example when a Cyclone first fades from a player it'll show 50%, once the 2nd one is casted within 15 seconds of the first one fading it'll show 25%.

Tracking time left on the spells requires mousing over them, targeting, having them already targeted or them being your focus so if you use something like Nature's Grasp and it procs on an enemy it won't actually show the timer until you do one of the things mentioned before.

As this is a work in progress, I can pretty much guarantee that the DR tracking isn't going to be 100% accurate while I tweak the linked DR list and such.

Currently tracks: Entangling Roots, Cyclone, Hibernate, Polymorph, Hammer of Justice, Psychic Scream, Sap, Gouge, Blind, Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot, Fear, Seduction, Howl of Terror, Charge, Intercept, Improved Hamstring

Toki's TargetNotes (1.01)

Toki's TargetNotes is a simple target-based note-taking addon. Target a unit (player, mob, ...) and use the command /tn or /df, followed by the note. For example:

/tn good priest

Then whenever you see the target again, you'll see the note(s) you took for it. This basic mechanism is augmented by a search UI that lets you find notes and target info quickly. The search command is /ts. You can enter it by itself to bring up the window, or type a query with it to pre-search directly from the slash command. For example:

/ts gnome warrior

This will find all the gnome warriors you've taken notes on. You can also bind a key to toggle the search window in the Key Bindings interface.

Here's some potential uses for notes:

Marketplace

If someone gives you a good deal on something, take a note on them. Maybe they offer a certain enchant for a good price. Include the name of the enchant in the note. Next time you need it, you can search for the enchant to look up their name and message them.

Friends

Notes are a quick way to jot down someone's phone number/MSN/etc., as well as other things, such as how much gold you owe someone, or how hot you think they are on a scale of 1 to 10.

PvE

You can take notes on individual bosses to keep track of their idiosyncracies. Later this can help you remember the battle, and also make it easier to teach people who are new to the fight, since you will have a short list of the most important things.

Likewise for other mobs. Maybe there's a mob that casts a spell reflect. Whenever you encounter the mob again you'll see the note warning you to watch out for it.

PvP

Have you ever encountered an enemy player whose name is familiar, but you don't remember why? Maybe they were nice and actually helped you out a bit, or maybe they were that asshole that endlessly ganked your level 2 alt. You won't have the problem of forgetting those things if you take notes on notable enemies. The TargetNotes database is account-wide, so whenever you see the person again you'll see the note you took for them, regardless of what character you're on.
